⁣More Kolors Argentina Yoga Holiday

When?

January 26th/February 2nd 2023

Where?

Acassuso, Buenos Aires - Argentina

After many years and conversations about hosting a Yoga retreat in Andy’s hometown of Buenos Aires we have finally found the perfect place. A beautiful Secret Garden. It’s a Colonial style, last century villa in a suburban location near the Rio de la plata. Walking distance to the riverside in a superb neighbourhood full of restaurants, bars and cafes.

This incredible house can fit ten people and is quite the space to behold. The high ceilings, private garden with swimming pool and stained glass windows makes it the perfect location for a luxurious and unique Yoga experience. Andy and Adam will be hosting you and will create an environment where everyone can feel relaxed and at ease. You can expect twice daily Yoga practices, delicious food (provided by Andy’s uncle who is a well established Chef) and time to explore the unique and interesting city of Buenos Aires.

Yoga and Food

Like in all our retreats, we will make sure you are well fed and with a happy belly. As mentioned before we have an incredible chef that will cook for us every day using fresh ingredients and a lot of imagination. Expect a gourmet style delicious vegetarian menu, influenced by the local traditions, seasonal and catered for all. We will of course have a classic Argentinian Bbq evening, probably hosted by legendary Jorge (Andy’s Dad) He knows his way around “the Parrilla” (Argentinian outdoor grill). Expect classic Argentinian cuisine, like empanadas, provoletas, facturas (Argie pastries) and Dulce de leche in quantity. Your foodie day will be a bit like this:

*Pre morning yoga class coffee and herbal teas, fruits and toast with home made jam and peanut butter.

*Post Yoga Brunch Feast

*Evening dinner bash with starters, main courses and desserts.

Daily Schedule

  • Morning yang yoga class ( 75/90m )

  • Brunch super feast

  • Plenty of free time to rest by the pool reading, or walking to the river or a trip into town.

Location

The house is located in Acasuso, north of Buenos Aires. This leafy green suburban area is quiet but with walking access to many bars, restaurants and the coast of the river Tigre. A short car journey will get you right into the heart of Buenos Aires, Palermo, with its multiple locations with things to do and see. Buenos Aires is known for being very cosmopolitan, there are many stunning museums, grave yards, vintage markets, neighbourhoods to visit and enjoy. Also the food scene is terrific, so much option and so delicious. If you enjoy your wine, then you are in for a real treat as you can enjoy some of the delicious classic Argentina grapes like Malbec, Torrontes, Cabernet Sauvignon and more.

Cost & Payment plans

Like any luxurious last century Villa, the house is huge with large spaces but it doesn’t have that many rooms. This is why this retreat is pretty exclusive. We will only be taking a group of 8/10 yogis. The rooms are spacious and they all have their own toilet with shower and bath. We worked really hard to keep the cost affordable so it is not a big amount when you add your flights to it. Please consider that you are going to be in the best neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, staying at an insane Villa (pictures don’t do it justice) and having your meals cooked by an extraordinary chef. The area is super safe, green and residential. Below are the costs at the early bird discounted rate.

I’m just back from my first ever yoga retreat in sunny Margate organised by the wonderful More Kolors team. We had a glorious three nights in a fantastic venue and were well looked after not only by the venue owners but by Adam and Andy too. It was obvious from the outset that a lot of research, preparation and thought had gone into the weekend to make it the success it was but they made it look so effortless and always with a smile on their faces. I can’t recommend More Kolors enough and would recommend to anyone a yoga retreat organised by them and I can’t wait to go on the next one!

“Andy and Adam are incredible hosts, and created such a beautiful holiday for us all. They are both brilliant yoga teachers, and the classes were varied, challenging, fun and relaxing. They are also wonderful chefs- the food was so delicious, and there was lots of it! On top of all this, we had lovely conversation, many laughs, and lots of relaxation. I would go on another of their yoga holidays in a heartbeat”.

“I retired a year ago after a very long and intense career.  What saved me through the rocky transition was increasing my yoga practice to almost daily. A few months ago I managed to slip through the jaws of Fortress Australia to London to support my daughter. I found a yoga studio at the end of my street and there I found Andy! After several months practicing with her she casually mentioned her planned yoga retreat in Portugal. Although I had never been on a yoga retreat I completely trusted Andy to take care of me both physically and spiritually. The location and accommodation were perfect for our group of 11 people of all ages and backgrounds. Conversations ranged from the polite, to the personal and to the frivolous. The food was a standout - plentiful, interesting and nutritious. (Why I didn’t put on weight I’ll never know - all that yoga, hiking and swimming I guess). The rhythm of the yoga classes was sensitive to how the group was feeling. Andy and Adam alternated in teaching the classes which finished on a high of disco yoga! Adam is a hoot! What a great team of Andy, Adam and Kat (who was part of the support team) I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to participate and to be part of a new community of friends. Yoga people are my tribe”.
